Can you tell me more about Empire Total War?

Not much I can tell you, there are two screens, a battle screen and a campaign map. On the map you move troops, manage cities and establishments, make diplomacy with other nations, manage your finances, and the like. Then the battle screen is obvious.

You can build buildings or recruit troops in each city, keeping in mind your income per turn. You don't want that to be negative.

On the battle screen you first set up how you want your troops deployed, and then you can command them to fire, charge, or whatever. You can also set your troops to running or walking when moving forward. They have certain amounts of energy and should not be overworked.

Concerning diplomacy, you can declare war, make trade agreements, pay other nations for certain stuff, etc.

You can do this all in a grand campaign for many different countries, but there is a special Road to Independence storyline that deals with the US.

Oh and also, you are also in charge of researching technologies to improve your military, or cities.
