How to hack using Flasm

I tried hacking the game :last stand 2 and i can get the file into a text file, edit watever i want but then when i want to reassemble using 'Flasm -a Laststand.txt > Laststand.swf it says it isn't an swf file, when i put my cursor over it it says it's an ext file is there something i should do differently, it works up until reassembling it. Do i have to use a different program for ext files?

All you need to do is change .ext to .swf

I understand now haha sorry for the mis-conception i was trying to do the hack off of memory (this is my second hack after the desktopTD example) and found out what to do sorry for taking up your time

every time i try to reassemble the file it says Couldn't open file DesktopTD15k.swf for update
