in my school, work is divided up into 3 categories, im not going to say them since they have weird names, but home work is in the daily work catagory, which only makes up 20% of our grade, if i do the res of my work and not home work, i can pass with a B

Lucky for me my entire school is home work and get done about 1 PM almost everyday

Ofcourse you can pass with a B without doing homework, but it's not about the work, but about what you learn from it. If I copy all answers from the answer-sheet (or whatever you call it) I can pass with an A, but I won't know anything after all. That's what I tried to make clear.

Our teacher gives us homework on Tuesday to pass in next Monday. I always do it the first night we get it so I can hack the other nights
