International Baccalaureate
International Baccalaureate
I get different grades to you lot. I haven't done all the subjects in 2 of my IARs (Interrum Assessment Reports). My grading system is like, from worst to best, 4c, 4b, 4a, 5c, 5b, 5a, 6c, 6b, 6a, etc etc. and that's the National Curriculum level. We also get individual teacher grades, which is like A to E (A being good, E being bad) and effort of 1 (being good) to 5 (being "cause for concern"). I don't remember those types of grades but I have some National Curriculum levels noted down here (also btw around level 5 (5c, 5b and 5a) is average in my year at school. Also and btw we have Years in our school, not Grades, eg. I am in Year 7, which roughly translates to, over the atlantic, as 6th Grade. So just minus 1 every year to get the grade.) OK:
IAR4 (4th IAR):
Maths: 6c
History: 5a
IAR3:
French: 5b
R.E. (Religious Education): 5c
Spanish: 5b
History: 5b
Geography: 6b
IAR2 (I'll exclude the ones I've already mentioned in the more recent IARs:
English: 5b effort 2
Science: 5b effort 2
French: 4a effort 2
ICT: 5c effort 1
Music: 7c effort 1, flag E (Exceeding targets)
Art: 4b effort 2
Food Tech (Cookery): 4c effort 3
P.E. (Physical Education, you probably already know): 5c effort 2
D.T. (Design Technology): 4b effort 2
Sorry if that was all too complicated, but I'm sure if you were at my school, you'd get used to it .
You have Design Technology?
