Alien Invasion XXI

Matheus: The goal is to make the aliens retreat or kill 'em all, but either will be hard with so few fighters, we should look for survivors and more weapons in apartments, houses and stuff.
Mira: Okay, as i said, let's keep going left, maybe we find an alien with some technology and maybe Amaterasu doesn't destroy it again.
Amaterasu: Hey, you'd rather die then?
Mira: But you cou...
Matheus: Stop fighting and pay attention to any noises and aliens, we still have 4 hours of daylight, we should use it well, let's find a safe place to rest for the night.
Mira & Amaterasu: Okay.

Amaterasu: Guys we have searching for hours. shouldn't we find a place to rest for the night?
Mira: Where could we rest while an alien invasion is going on?
Matheus: Mira is right, if were gonna rest we need a safe area.
Amaterasu: Ok.

[Matheusultimatex]

We find what seems to be an abandoned safehouse or something, it has really thick metal walls and 4 beds.
Matheus: This place seems very good, check out more of it.
When we hear a noise coming from the kitchen, we go check it.
Amaterasu: I think this place has some aliens.
*2 minutes later*
Matheus: Let's give up guys, we searched anywhere an alien could be and nothing, let's sleep already.
I am almost falling asleep when another noise is heard.
Matheus: Wake up, i heard another noise.
Mira: We searched again and nothing, thanks for waking me up.
When an alien suddenly pops out from the ceiling, attacking us.

Mira: *pulls out pistol and shoots alien* It's not dead yet.
Amaterasu: Yes it is. Look, you shot it in the head.
Mira: Oh.
Matheus: I think there is more aliens.
Amaterasu/Mira: Ok lets search.

PS: Is there gonna be a point where an alien actually does something to change the story? Like kidnap one of us?

Matheus: I'll search in this workplace here, you both search on the bathroom.
Mira/Amaterasu: Okay.

PS: I was thinking about something like this when i made the game, maybe capture one of us and put on one of their starships.

*Later*

Mira: Nothing.

Bang!

Mira looks to the right and the entire front of the house is destroyed. About 20 aliens (one regimenta) are there.

Mira: Hide!

*Matheus and Amaterasu duck; Mira hides behind the door.*

The regimental leader grumbles and motions for the rest of the regimenta to move on.

*The regimenta passes by*
Matheus: Phew, that was a close one.
Amaterasu: Lets search inside the house. It might have some stuff or food.
Mira: Ok.
*We search the house*
Mira: I didn't find anything. What did you find?
Matheus: I didn't find anything useful.
Amaterasu: Me neither.

Mira: Okay, time to head out.

Matheus: We can't. Who knows where that regiment is?

Amaterasu: RegimentA.

Matheus: That's their name for it, not ours.

Mira: Come on.

*All exit house and turn left again.

Matheus: My god, that was a close call now we know we can't trust on a simple thick wall anymore.
Mira: Yup, and by the location of the sun i would say it is around 5:10 AM.
Matheus: At least we slept for a while.
Amaterasu: Maybe we should make a cave or something for a shelter, houses on sight are easy to find and destroy.
Mira: But we need a shovel for this.
Matheus: What if a saucer lands just up there, we would die smashed, let's pick one of those cars stopped and head to Nevada, maybe in Area 51 we can find tech and resources for we to use... If the guards and other people there are dead at least.
Mira: But we are in New York, it will take forever to get there.
Matheus: You have any other options?

Mira: Not at the moment, but the aliens can't check out every house. Just pick an apartment building.
