Some games, however are a bit confusing, if the things covered below don't work try the following:

1-Unknown initial value, do first scan, then do increased/changed/decreased value continuously until you find what you're looking for. To avoid game crushing due to it being a wrong multiplier, just add multiple 0 In the left of this value
2-Some games change values but don't show them changing, am not experienced with them. But here's what I do. Make your money high enough that it only appears with around 10-30 other values, select all and change 'em, if their number is beyond that, you can cause your game to crush

Hey guys, so I am running a x86_64 version of Fedora 21 (A popular distribution of GNU Linux) and I had trouble with this because cheat engine is only packaged for Windows in a .exe dos based executable file, and I have a hard time running those, so I went to the alternative to website and looked up the Linux alternative to cheat engine. The best result I got was a program known as Scanmem & GameConqueror. It is working fine and I hope this helps anyone running any distro of Linux
