Upgrade it as much as you want. There is another option (5) When it stops wroking hit 5 and downgrade the weapon. It will work.

GAME TIP: At beginning of game click on WEAPON LEVEL UP 54 times for MAX WEAPON and then enjoy decimating ALL incoming enemy ships and asteroids.

GAME TIP 2 (Use if BORED Shooting Weapon)

Use the KEY COMBO of '3' then 'D' or 'D' then "3" to perform ONE SHOT KILL ALL. Works for ENEMY SHIPS but NOT ASTEROIDS. Good Hunting!
