**SHADOWGATE GAME HELP
I am posting this here since most individuals on APH don't play the UNHACKED version of the game. Use this game HELP along with the GAME WALK-THROUGH (below) as needed.
A. Saving Game
It is IMPORTANT that you SAVE GAME when you enter a NEW ROOM/AREA for the FIRST TIME. This way if you happen to get KILLED due to a TRAP you won't need to repeat several steps.
B. Save File Problem - Keep Dying (SOLUTION)
Sometimes when you CONTINUE a SAVE FILE you immediately die again. To "fix" this simply CONTINUE (or start) ANOTHER SAVE FILE - *then* - REFRESH BROWSER - *then* - CONTINUE "original" SAVE FIL
C. Clues and In-Game-Help
For a better "Game Experience", use the LOOK action on objects and areas to learn important game CLUES and information about OBJECTS. Also there is a HINT action for additional HELP.
E. Movement
It is IMPORTANT that *ALL* ACTIONS (Look, Open, Use, etc...) be UNCHECKED prior to moving. DIRECTIONS used in the WALK-THROUGH (below) are shown as 'N', 'NE', 'E', 'SE', 'S', 'SW', 'W', 'NW' and 'CENTER'.
D. TORCHES and the MAGIC TORCH
TAKE every TORCH found which will increase TORCHES COUNT by one with the EXCEPTION of the MAGIC TORCH. This "Torch" is found in HALL TWO and appears in your GOODS as the object "TORCH".
