i think the weird device is some sort of mind control device kind like the apple in assassins creed exept the apple could only control some peapol whighl this worked on the whole universe

That's what I think. Then on LVL 38, you find the same object again, try to take it down, control it, then you filled the object with positive energy enough to make all of the hostile enemy into your own unit. That's what I think... :)

to capture the object, but you find something even more powerful, something that you can't control.
So, on LVL 32, I think those lasers are guardians of the seal (of the evil beings...) and you manage to control the object making you break the seal.

And LVL 32 are Unit Blue and Unit Red. You fight off in the distant of the galaxy and you come across a mysterious thing in the middle of it. Around it are guardians protecting the object. You and Red are too strong for the guardians and you manage

I come to this game every once in a while.. and I can't lie. It's still so cool. The music and everything. I wish there was a Solarmax 3, but that's not going to happen :(. Also my conclusion for the black units are evil units, or evil beings.
