Why doesn't he pick up items on the ground? Also, how do you use those powers exactly?

Hack is ultimate but the game is very bad.

Spacebar for picking up things. To use the powers, hover over whichever one you want to use and it shows you the key combination for that power.

What a bareminimum tutorial. It didn't teach me anything about the game which keyboard buttons are assigned.

go all the way left even past the town you start off in until you fite a boss. kill him then go left again. kill the next boss. then talk to the old guy then kill weitzu again then you can go through

Great game, but it would be better if there was a customized bankai option, if you could change the skin color, and if there was a bankai version of the sword like there is a shikai version. Most of all though, you should be able to become a captain.
